Czech Republic: Labor Market Testing Process to be Relaxed for Employee Card Applicants
May 10, 2024
The labor market test process for Employee Card applicants will be relaxed starting July 1, 2024. Job vacancies still need to be published on the government online platform, but sponsors and applicants will no longer need to wait 10-30 days (depending on factors such as the position type and experience level of the employee) before proceeding to the next stage of the Employee Card application process. This change will expedite onboarding of foreign talent, ensuring employers are able to resolve internal labor shortages more quickly.
