Adekunbi is an Associate at Fragomen’s San Francisco office, where she focuses her practice on U.S. business immigration and related compliance matters. She counsels clients on a wide variety of employment-based immigrant visa matters, including permanent residence and PERM labor certifications. Adekunbi has represented multinational corporations, startups and individuals from various industries, including technology, retail, construction and business process outsourcing.
Prior to joining Fragomen, Adekunbi represented corporate clients at a boutique immigration firm in Atlanta, Georgia. She handled and oversaw the preparation and filing of employment-based immigrant and nonimmigrant petitions. Adekunbi also assisted clients with developing and implementing internal immigration policies and procedures, including those related to I-9 and LCA compliance.
Adekunbi also previously worked at the Department of Labor, where she reviewed and analyzed H-2A and H-2B applications for Foreign Employment Certification. During law school, she externed for the Executive Office for Immigration Review and the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, where she drafted appellate briefs on behalf of the government and prepared draft decisions for immigration judges on asylum removal cases.
Adekunbi has served as a pro-bono attorney at the National Immigrant Justice Center and the Chicago Volunteer Legal Services, as well as at citizenship workshops held by the United African Organization.
