Providing clients with the best immigration advice, responsibly

The way we do business reflects who we are and what we stand for

Responsible Business Practice hands holding heart

Addressing the future of work with intentionality

At Fragomen, we believe that the way we do business is of equal importance to the global mobility challenges we aim to solve. Harnessing our talent and energy to create a purpose-driven method of conducting business that aligns with our core, longstanding values is paramount in our efforts to being conscious citizens and remaining a top destination of choice for our people and clients alike.

Launched in 2022, our Global Responsible Business Practices Group centers on key areas of focus for Fragomen and its communities, providing freedom for varying and unique country- and office-level initiatives under a cohesive, unified framework focused on driving the firm forward.

Our commitment to responsible business is rooted in our core values: maintaining the highest ethical standards in our work; always staying curious and informed; driving innovation and change; respecting and empowering others by embracing culture and inclusivity; and giving back. In short—we want to make a meaningful impact for our people, our clients and our society.

The following five pillars serve as the foundation of our Responsible Business activities across the firm:

Culture & Inclusion

At Fragomen, pursuing an inclusive culture goes beyond a policy. It's part of our DNA—and always has been. Our leadership works every day to support an environment where all employees bring their varying backgrounds and perspectives to the workplace to deepen our understanding of our clients' needs, and where our employees have equal opportunities to succeed and grow.

Pro Bono

We have a deep history of giving back to the communities where we live and work—and we continue that mission today. Serving the less fortunate by providing advice and community support where it is most needed allows us to help immigrants secure a better future for themselves and their families.

Corporate Social Responsibility

We believe there is more to success in business than generating profit—we want to do well by doing good. We are committed to considering the impact that our business decisions have on our people, our planet, the communities in which we work and our clients.

Sustainability

Fragomen is focused on sustainability in our business operations and practices—and we know there is much work to be done, with countless opportunities available to minimize our impact on the environment. Like many of our clients, we are adopting policies aimed at improving efficiency, reducing consumption and waste, and reimagining the cleanest way to conduct our business to allow our world to thrive for years to come.

Our Commitment to Climate Action

At Fragomen, our dedication to our clients and communities includes a firmwide commitment to responsible business practices and a sustainable future. We are taking meaningful and decisive action to address our climate impact, guided by the latest climate science.

We have set targets to achieve net-zero by 2050.

We are proud that our greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reduction targets have been officially validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), confirming their alignment with the 1.5°C pathway, the most ambitious goal of the Paris Agreement.

In line with SBTi criteria, we will prioritise direct emissions reductions across our business to meet these goals and commit to neutralising any residual emissions to achieve net-zero by our target date.

Our Validated Science-Based Targets

The following targets were approved by the SBTi on May 12, 2025, using a 2023 baseline year:

      • Overall Net-Zero Target: Fragomen, Del Rey, Bernsen & Loewy, LLP commits to reaching net-zero greenhouse gas emissions across the value chain by 2050.
      • Near-Term Targets (by 2033):
            • Fragomen, Del Rey, Bernsen & Loewy, LLP commits to reducing absolute scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions by 54.6%.
            • Fragomen, Del Rey, Bernsen & Loewy, LLP also commits to reducing absolute scope 3 GHG emissions by 32.5%.
      • Long-Term Targets (by 2050):
            • Fragomen, Del Rey, Bernsen & Loewy, LLP commits to reducing absolute scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions by 90%.
            • Fragomen, Del Rey, Bernsen & Loewy, LLP also commits to reducing absolute scope 3 GHG emissions by 90%.

Well-being

As our Responsible Business Practices develop, we are committed to implementing firmwide initiatives that support the health and wellness of our people, including programs to address work-life balance and benefits that cover a wide range of well-being needs of all employees.
